Donating to our cause
We welcome donations to our funds and these will always be acknowledged by an official receipt. Please remember to quote our unique RNLI number 934866 when making a donation.
Use 'Gift Aid' to make your donation worth more! For every pound you, we get an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue - just fill in the form, it's that simple. Please ask for a 'Gift Aid' form when making a donation.
To qualify for 'Gift Aid', what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must equal the amount we will claim in the tax year.
To make a donation please contact the treasurer to discuss any arrangements you wish to make.
Donations can also be made at the Lifeboat Station Shop.
Lifeboat Shop
Why not visit our shop adjacent to the Lifeboat Station for genuine RNLI souvenirs, gifts, Christmas cards, calendars and diaries!
If you wish to visit the shop outside of the above time(s), please telephone 01745 334210 to make an appointment.
Volunteer shop staff
Our shop is run by volunteers who spare a little of their time on a regular basis. We are always happy to recruit new staff and anyone interested in giving a helping hand should contact Mrs. Frost our Souvenir Secretary on 01745 334210 or 350956.
Please be advised that we may not be able to accept your help immediately as it is RNLI policy to carry out a CRB check prior to accepting new volunteers.
Please note
We regret that we cannot accept bric a brac, clothes or any other second hand goods for sale in the shop.

Membership information
At the RNLI we're grateful for every penny we receive, but planning ahead is difficult when we don't know how much supporters will give or when.
With the help of a steady income budgeting is more effective and ensures we always have the resources we need. When you consider a new lifeboat can cost nearly £2 million, you can see how important it is for us to plan ahead.
Our future depends on you. We rely on members' support to pay for lifeboats, equipment and clothing. Without this vital support, our volunteer crews simply couldn't do their job.
Every new member is a lifesaver. As soon as you become an RNLI member, you make a significant contribution to our lifesaving work.
To join, or for further information please contact us. Someone will be in touch you to tell you all about it without obligation.
